Hello Patriot Friends,

This Saturday, the Georgia Tea Party Federal Task Force will be meeting with Senator Johnny Isakson and you are encouraged to participate. Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, June 25, 2011
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: Cobb County GOP Headquarters, 799 Roswell Street, Marietta, Georgia 30060

Sen. Isakson will be with us for just 45 minutes, so we've asked him to talk for about 15 minutes and take 30 minutes of questions. Items we've asked him to address:

Budget stalemate in the Senate
Health care and Medicare reform solutions
EPA and energy regulation
His work on the Foreign Relations Committee

If you want to come up with questions, that's fine, but try to keep them short and to the point so we can get HIS feedback. We want him to listen to us, but we want to hear his ideas and how he is approaching some of these issues.

After Sen. Isakson leaves, we will conduct other business of the Task Force, such as the reports some of you have been working on.

Get Involved and Take Action
The Georgia Tea Party^TM has many things going on. Here are some opportunities to participate:

Join one of our Program groups. There's something for everyone: Gold Dome lobbying, Precinct Captain, Constitutional Education, public relations, events and more.

Check out our events calendar and attend other grassroots events.

Take action on your own. See our Take Action plan on how to get educated on the Constitution, upcoming legislation and effectively contact your senators and representatives.

Make a donation. We could use your donations to purchase additional materials like pocket Constitutions, Principles of Liberty DVDs, recruiting events, etc.

These are all terrific ways to meet others who share our belief in individual freedom and constitutionally-limited self-government. And I'm sure you will find, as we have, many delightful, interesting and engaging individuals who, like you, care deeply about our country and protecting our constitution.
