The American Revolution, An Age of Enlightenment
Presented by Revolutionary War Veterans of America
Location: Mountain View Library, Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, GA

Time: 6pm

 

The presentation will be put on by volunteers with Revolutionary War Veterans of America (RWVA), which hosts a program called Project Appleseed. The Revolutionary War Veterans Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to teaching every American our shared heritage and history as well as traditional rifle marksmanship skills.

 

Project Appleseed teaches rifle marksmanship skills that have been passed down from generation to generation and reconnects Americans with the people and events of colonial America. Our objective is to honor the sacrifices made for our heritage of individual liberty, to promote traditional rifle skills, and to make this nation again a nation of riflemen. This event be a history presentation as well as some information about the shooting aspect of our program.

Get Involved and Take Action

The Georgia Tea PartyTM has many things going on. Here are some opportunities to participate:

  • Forward this email to your friends and encourage them to sign up to be on our mailing list to get the latest news - see the form on the Get Involved page.
  • Join one of our Program groups.  There's something for everyone: Gold Dome lobbying, Precinct Captain, Constitutional Education, public relations, events and more.
  • Join us on Facebook and Twitter.
  • Check out our events calendar and attend other grassroots events. 
  • Take action on your own.  See our Take Action plan on how to get educated on the Constitution, upcoming legislation and effectively contact your senators and representatives.
  • Make a donation.  We could use your donations to purchase additional materials like pocket Constitutions, Principles of Liberty DVDs, recruiting events, etc.


 These are all terrific ways to meet others who share our belief in individual freedom and constitutionally-limited self-government. And I'm sure you will find, as we have, many delightful, interesting and engaging individuals who, like you, care deeply about our country and protecting our constitution.  Thank you for your continued support.
